The Story of a Dream The Tryptic of Jacopo Pellicciaio
The Triptych is the result of a two-years realization and deep research on the ancient techniques of the Renaissance Master’s artworks present in our Florentine museums.
Iguarnieri, Roberto and Rodolfo in collaboration with Romano Bacci, have studied the masterpieces inside of the most remarkable Museums of Florence such as; Museo dell’Accademia, Uffizi, Santa Croce, the Florentine antique convents and in particular way the ancient triptychs inside the San Marco Museum.
The processing with the egg tempera applied day by day, made it according to the ancient techniques, the gold leaf and its application after the bolo, and the solid wooden base construction, were the most difficult conquers that have required deeper insights, studies and complex sketches, all things done with great time commitment.
This triptych we present has the characteristic of being contemporary, therefore realized now, with the same old techniques, and so for new, not aged or patinated, but new.
The particularity of this artistic approach aims to claim the possibility to realize valued art in the studio nowadays, our position is deeply connected with the way of do of the renaissance ateliers. That used to turn, and were commissioned and sponsored by patrons for the realization of high level cultural and artistic contemporary art works.-
Our studio is proud to present this object that represents for us a big journey of studies and further developments, and be able to offer to our stakeholders from all over the world that love art, the possibility to share a path of achievement in contemporary art that has in the inside the quality and professionality to know the Old Masters craft.
Iguarnieri has already done in Russia, Germany, California and Australia “on site” frescoes and paintings, that are nowadays still promoting the art of Guarnieri out in the world, artists that are open to every single kind of technique, subject, dimension and material.
